01.Introduction
Dear ladies and gentlemen,
once again we kindly invite You to participate in another year of this significant project whose motto is expressed in the title of this document.
We are interested in people. We share responsibility and interest both inside our firms and the society, in the matter of fulfilling the ideals and rights of using the best abilities, ambitions and experiences of women and men at work and in entrepreneurial activities, also including the visions within the frame of personal life.
The goal of this project is to support and honour woman´s solidarity, co-operation, reciprocity and recognition. These are the principles which we attempt to follow in our everyday working and private life.
That is why we decided in 2008 to announce a competition for the title „The Czech Woman – Business Personality in the Czech Republic“. In this year 2009, the continuation of this competition is being held under a new name: "The Czech Businesswomen Award".
Through this competition we appeal to all women who have achieved noteworthy professional success and challenge them to share with the Czech society their fulfilled dreams, unceasing energy and enthusiasm, but also all the unavoidable barriers they had to overcome in their profession, without which it is not possible to even imagine any success at all.
We are interested in Your life´s philosophy, in Your managing and business methods that helped You to reach success. We would like to express our recognition of Your participation on this competition and take Your example as an encouragement for all the women, whether the actively busy ones or those summoning up the determination and strength for their first or new projects.
Further, the project is reflecting the present economic situation at home and abroad and gives an opportunity to speak on actual topics in the field of business-making.
